A chemical peel is a treatment that is used to create an injury of the skin, at a specific depth, with a goal of stimulating new skin growth and making it smoother and more radiant. Chemical peels can contain acids, enzymes and other ingredients which can be varied in strength to accommodate most skin types. Although many clients are good candidates for a chemical peel, precautions need to be taken for darker skin tones, skin sensitivity, medications taken and other medical and skin conditions and, in some cases, may not be a suitable skin treatment. It is for these reasons that a prior consultation is always recommended.

5-Berry Pigment Control Peel
GLYMEDPLUS®
The five-berry pigment control peel by GlymedPlus® is an excellent peel for hyperpigmentation, sun damaged skin, wrinkles and acne. This potent 7% trichloroacetic acid (TCA), along with the tyrosinase inhibiting and antioxidant benefits of five natural berries (cranberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and bearberry), make this a reparative, protective and anti-aging peel. This peel is safe for all Fitzpatrick’s (skin tones) and provides mild to moderate amounts of peeling and/or flaking. This treatment includes a double cleanse, peel pre-treatment and peel application, restorative serums and SPF. Best for normal, combination and oily skin types.

Sometimes referred to as superficial peels, these are typically safe and effective on all skin types. A level 1 chemical peel is a light exfoliation that removes the top layer of skin, or epidermis. It can help with: improving fine wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne, dry skin and boosts collagen production. This treatment includes a double cleanse, peel pre-treatment and peel application, restorative serums and SPF.

Level 2 Chemical Peel
Medium-depth peels are ideal for those who want more dramatic results than a level 1 peel can offer but wish to avoid the risk and recovery time associated with deeper peels. They are effective in treating acne, minimizing acne scars, evening out skin discoloration and improving the texture of your skin. This treatment includes a double cleanse, peel pre-treatment and peel application, restorative serums and SPF.
